Tomorrow is officially 1 month since Coded in Control was released, and it’s been a wild ride!
On Indie Bookstore Day, Coded in Control sold out at the Indie Bookstores with physical copies! I never dreamed that would happen, and it was the greatest and most stressful weekend because I was waiting for new stock to arrive and had to hustle to get everything out!
Coded in Control is currently in 6 bookstores, with the 7th opening on May 10th! My website has a full list of indies you can shop right now!
Author(s) Spotlight!
If you haven’t been active on social media, you probably missed all the drama with the disastrous book convention in Baltimore this past weekend. There are plenty of videos that highlight the different authors/narrators/vendors who attended and their experiences that I won’t divulge, since it’s not my story to tell.
However, these authors were scammed out of A LOT of money, so much so that some are contemplating stepping away from writing, which we can’t let happen. Not to mention that many of the authors who attended were baby authors like me, and to think about the thousands of dollars they lost makes me sick.
It’s important to support indies in any way that you can. We don’t have a publisher driving our books out. We don’t have a large marketing team to promote us. And everything you see is a hard earned dollar spent by that author trying to give you the characters you love and crave.
Check out the list provided by Indie Author Connect (IAX) and support these authors in any way you can, even if it’s just the simple act of following them on social media and sharing their books! A little goes a long way!

My piece for the To L.A., With Love Anthology, Spinning Out of Control, is a second-chance biker romance set in the world of Masquerave!
To L.A., With Love is up for preorder now but will officially be available in both formats from June 10th to July 31st! There will be an e-book version AND multiple volumes for the paperbacks! And once I have the final say on which volume Spinning Out of Control will be in, I’ll let you know!
I want us to raise as much money as possible for the libraries affected by the fires (and just for the libraries in general), so I’m offering an order incentive!
After you order the Anthology (in whatever format), please fill out the form to receive the extended version of Spinning Out of Control for FREE, before it’s published as an individual novella!
This form will be open now through July 31st. This will ensure that if you want a specific volume of the paperback, you can include that purchase!
I had to cap the story at 10k words to fit into the anthology, but the characters in this one have SO MUCH more to say. Honestly, it sets up much of the world outside the club (which we may or may not see in later books), so it’s a must read!

Speaking of bookish events, mark your calendars because I’m going to Nashville on July 20th, from 12 to 4 p.m., for the Slow Burn Bookshop’s One-Year Anniversary Event!

Where: Fait La Force Brewery; 1414 3rd Ave South, Nashville, TN, 37210
Time: 12P-4P CT
This is a boozy book fair that will include many local authors, bookish vendors, and a tattoo pop-up!
It will be my first book event, and I am very excited to be part of it! I will have more information as we get closer to the event day, but you can bet I’ll have signed books and plenty of goodies for anyone who visits my little table!
Do you think you've figured out the title for Masquerave Book 2 yet? The title will officially be revealed on May 23rd, and the first person to guess the title correctly will automatically receive a PR box for book 2’s release!

We’re still going strong on A Legion of Bane & Embers, with a new chapter coming tomorrow! I’m having so much fun building the Knights of Cindervail world! I have at least five novellas already planned for the series, and who knows where the winds will take us! The Knights of Cindervail serial will continue to be free for all subscribers!
The love you all already have, down to Atlas and Emilian, is more than I could have imagined, and they’ve been so fun to write. They’re just so messy. It makes me giddy AF.
I have more things coming your way this year to fill the time between the releases of Coded in Control and book 2, but I intend to always leave you wanting more.
